The Leadership
Rob Ebert
Group C.E.O.
Rob began his career in Finance in the 1980s, trading Japanese Warrants and Convertible Bonds for Daiwa Securities and then Morgan Stanley in London and Tokyo.
In the mid-1990s he joined the then-fledgling equity business at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, the Investment Banking arm of Deutsche Bank.
Over the 20 years that followed, he held senior roles in London, Tokyo, New York and Hong Kong.
These included; Head of Sales, USA -- where he was responsible for the Bank’s equity clients across the full franchise spanning, Derivatives, Prime Brokerage and Cash Equities -- as well as Head of Sales, Asia Pacific; Global Head of Execution Services Sales and Co-Global Head of Equity Sales.
Rob ultimately became Head of the Equity Division, APAC, with responsibility for all Sales and Trading functions across the 17 countries in the region, and also subsequently appointed Head of Global Markets, Hong Kong, which included the Fixed Income business. He served as Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Securities Asia Limited, and sat on both the Global Equity Executive Committee and the Global Markets ExCo in Asia Pacific, before retiring from the Bank.
Since stepping away from Investment Banking he has been actively investing and advising, principally in IT, FinTech and Healthcare, with a particular focus on opportunities that can deliver a positive social impact.
He is regularly sought out by organisations looking to connect with his significant global network-- whether to raise capital, identify suitable investing partners, or solve complex challenges.
Rob is a Senior Advisor to KingsRock for Global Private Capital Markets, sits on the Advisory Board of Panoteck, a digital media company and is also a Board Member of Mindstruck, a company focussed on solving the most pressing health needs of young people.

The Advisors
Mike Stewart
Senior Advisor
Mike has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He retired in 2019 from his role as Managing Director at Credit Suisse in New York, where he was responsible for global equities, global equity research, and sat on the global markets management team. Mike now focuses on financial services consulting via his firm, Cardiff Associates, board work, and venture investing.
Previously, Mike was a Group Managing Director at UBS in Zurich, Switzerland, where he ran global investment products and services and sat on the wealth management executive committee. From 2011-2014, he was global head of equities for the UBS Investment Bank, based in New York.
Mike began his career in financial services in 1992 at Barclays Global Investors in San Francisco, where he worked in various capacities, ultimately heading the equity trading division. In 2002, he moved to Merrill Lynch in New York, and subsequently Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London and New York, where he served in a variety of roles, including global head of cash equities, co-head of EMEA markets and member of EMEA management committee, and global head of equities.
Mike has served and serves on a variety of boards in financial services and technology space, and was a member of the board of directors of the Global Financial Markets Association. He also serves on the advisory board of UC Santa Barbara's Center for Research in Financial Mathematics and Statistics, Economics Advisory Board, and was elected a trustee of the UC Santa Barbara Foundation in 2014, where he is a member of the finance and investment committee.
Mike was born and raised in California and graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. with Honors in Business Economics and English.
